Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people with disabilities. This page explains the standard the site aims at, what has already been done, and how to report a problem.

The standard this site aims at

The site aims at Israeli standard 5568, which is based on the international guidelines for website accessibility at level AA. That is the target we set ourselves.

We do not claim that the site fully meets that target, and the site has not been audited by an outside party.

What has been done so far

  • The site can be navigated with a keyboard, and a clear marker shows where you are at any moment.
  • Images on the site carry a text description.
  • Headings are ordered so that a screen reader can move between them.
  • Contrast between text and background is kept, and you can switch between a light and a dark display.
  • Text can be enlarged through the browser without the page breaking.
  • The site is built to work on a phone screen as well.

What is not accessible yet

There may be pages or parts that are not fully accessible yet, in particular new content or content that arrives from an outside source. We keep fixing them, and a report from you helps us know what to fix first.

How to report an accessibility problem

If something got in your way, tell us. So that we can act quickly, say which page it happened on, what you were trying to do, and which browser or device you were using.

  • Accessibility coordinator: [accessibility coordinator name]
  • Email: [contact email]
  • Phone: [contact phone]
  • Address: [office address]

We will confirm that your report arrived and tell you what was done about it.

If the problem is not resolved

If you contacted us and got no answer, or the answer did not solve the problem, you can come back to us and ask for the report to be reviewed again. You can also turn to the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the Ministry of Justice.
